About

Our Story

The Staging House is an award-winning, full-service home staging, decorating and redesign company. Our Staging Consultants are Canadian Staging Professional (CSP) honours graduates and active members of Real Estate Staging Professionals (RESA). With our 3,500 sq. ft. warehouse space conveniently located in Burlington, Ontario, we are able to service home owners, real estate agents, property managers, builders and investors from Toronto through to Niagara.

Getting top value for your property – and minimizing days on market – is as much our business as it is yours. We specialize in optimizing the function, flow and esthetic of rooms in vacant and occupied homes of all sizes and price points.

Our inventory consists of both traditional and contemporary furniture and accessories. This allows us to fill a new or recently renovated vacant home in a style that suits the finishes, as well as marry our items with a home owner’s to create a cohesive design that will appeal to the largest number of potential buyers. We will never run out of inventory!

The benefits to owning our own inventory is that we do not have to depend on a third party to rent items, and there is no limit to the furniture and accessories we can use in our design plans. Nor is there a limit to how long a client can rent for (renewal costs apply).

We pride ourselves in our ability to maximize the use of space in a home through strategic furniture placement. Whether we create a design with our inventory, creatively re-arrange the homeowner’s existing furniture, or a mix of both, we will create a design that has the home looking professionally decorated rather than staged.

From Corporate to Creative

A local Hamiltonian, Adrienne’s professional career began when she joined the financial industry in 1987. Most recently, she was the Vice-President at a major independent financial firm where she covered everything from recruiting and training, strategic planning. budgeting, policies, communications and HR-related projects.

Outside of Bay Street,, Adrienne has always had a talent for improving function, flow, and design of spaces. She found herself helping friends. families  and colleagues make their homes feel more like home. Whether it was styling a home to appeal to a buyer,  or creating a dream living space, Adrienne had homeowners falling in love with their home all over again.

In December 2016,  Adrienne decided it was time to move her passion project forward and get professionally certified to stage and decorate homes. She graduated from Certified Staging Professionals (CSP) Training with honours. She is also now a  member of the Real Estate Agents Staging Association.

In February 2017, an opportunity arose to purchase an existing Staging House in Burlington, Ontario.  With her knowledge of business, talent for design, and client first approach, Adrienne felt this was a natural next step. Despite the wonderful people she worked with, the financial services industry left her with the feeling of having little control of her own success. It was time to be fearless in the pursuit of entrepreneurship.

Now Adrienne is dedicated to home staging and styling. Her goal is to get homeowners, real estate agents, property managers and builders’  top value for their properties and minimize the days they are on the market. Her vision is to be the premier home staging solution for value conscious clients from Mississauga to Niagara Falls.

How does The Staging House (TSH) stand out from the rest?
TSH has an official place of business which includes a 3500 square ft warehouse with office space. This allows them to house their own her inventory – leaving out the middle man. With this approach, TSH will never run out of product – and places no limit on rental periods. From start to finish, Adrienne’s team works flawlessly to provide a space that’s inviting and they take pride in maximizing a home’s function and flow. Thoughtful placement of high-end furniture, framed art and layers of accessories, make a space feel like a professionally decorated home rather than a staged house. Her insured and trained installation team is professional and efficient, allowing photos to be taken the same day as staging. We get it!
